Sea Life Aquarium

The super cheap tickets we got included hopping over to Sea Life Aquarium where we spent the second morning before hitting LegoLand again.
This was in the shark tunnel where Chase couldn't stop saying, "WHOA!!!" We loved watching the Sharks swim by.
Jackson and Chase looking at the tide pools.

LEGOLAND!!!

We surprised the kids on Christmas night with tickets to LegoLand. We found some really cheap tickets on Craig's List and got a great deal on a hotel. We headed out Monday morning to San Diego. This was Jackson and Chase's first time at an amusement park and it had been a long time for Blake and Audrey, so the kids were quite excited to say the least.
After a free breakfast at the Hotel we were the first ones to the park. We couldn't wait.
We ran to the cars and did them first so Jackson got the whole track to himself.
Blake and Audrey earned their driver's licenses

Blake loved driving his own car and helicopter. He had a blast, even on the kiddie rides. But his favorite was the jousting when he and I got flipped all over the place and I couldn't stop laughing.
Chase calls skeletons and pirates, "whoa freaky!" but he's not scared of them. He wanted to go on the "whoa freaky" pirate ride. Jackson opted out but Chase loved it! Jackson then changed his mind after he saw how much fun we had and he ended up doing it the second day.
Audrey with the Princess of LegoLand
Giddy up horsey! Jackson liked this much better than the Dragon Roller Coaster.
Going on the boat ride to tour the wonders of the world... lego style! Miniland USA was incredible to see everything built out of LEGOS!
"Santa comin' to town" is what Chase says every time he sees Santa.
"Chug a choo choo" Chase loves trains.
Some of the rides had lego play areas while we waited- brilliant idea!
This was our one meal at LegoLand at the Sports Cafe. We also had Granny's Apple Fries with cream cheese dipping sauce in the Knight's Kingdom-YUMMY!!
The kids played and we watched some fun shows. The rain didn't slow us down a bit.
The kids loved this simple little airplane ride. It would whip them around the corner and you could hear Chase giggling the entire ride. It was so cute to see Blake and Audrey taking Jackson and Chase on these rides and lifting them up in to their seats and buckling them in. This was definitely a priceless memory to see the joy and laughter in their faces.
The Beetle Bounce Ride was another classic. All three kids just laughing and giggling the whole ride and Chase loved watching them do it. The trip was perfect. Blake wasn't too old and Chase wasn't too young. The kids picked out their own "lego lego guys" to take home with them to help us remember what a wonderful time we had.

CHRISTMAS 2009

Christmas morning we wake up and watch Luke 2 first thing.
Then the kids sit on the stairs and wait for mom and dad to go downstairs first to see if we had any visitors.
Chase got a new trike
and a blue "Y Cougar Bear"
Jackson got Speed Racer walkie talkies
and Dad helped him put together his new car.
a new Magnadoodle!
Audrey has been wanting glasses for months- her wish finally came true in pink!
and more Webkinz for her collection.
Blake got a remote control truck that looks like Dad's/Grandpa's.

Christmas 09

Audrey's new BYU shirt and headband from Grandma
Blake's Chad Lewis book and Indiana Jones Monopoly
There was no Mr. Chubby shirt. My mom gave me a Vita-Mix Blender which I absolutely LOVE!! I seriously use it every day. Thanks Mom!!
Santa's reindeer left us a little present Christmas morning.
Jackson got his motorcycle bike that he previously had discovered in the back of Matt's truck.
So of course we had to go on a family bike ride to the park. Arizona Christmases are a little different... bike rides in shorts instead of sledding in snowsuits. We had one more surprise for the kids when we got home...

Christmas Eve 2009

We went to Paul and Trisha's this Christmas Eve for a yummy ham dinner. Then, of course, the kids got dressed for the nativity.
Raegan, the beautiful angel. Brigham, the strong Joseph. Audrey, the sweet Mary. Blake, the wise. Chase... Rambo Jr.? And Jackson, the evil shepherd.
After singing a few songs we got to make cookies for Santa.
With sprinkles of course! LOTS of sprinkles. We tested just a few to make sure they were okay. (Okay... maybe more than a few)
Next we got to open our new jammies and then we were off to look at the fun Disney neighborhood lights (each house is a different character theme). Chase loved the Christmas lights this year and would say, "WHOOA... cool lights!"
We got home in time to set out the cookies and carrots...
hang the stockings with care...
and read the Night Before Christmas before the kids snuggled down in their beds. I was SO excited for Christmas morning.

More Traditional Christmas Pictures

Gotta Love Chases's grin. He says "CHeeeSe" now whenever I pull out the camera.
Audrey's so fun to take pictures of. She never whines like the boys do- just poses!
Not bad for Jackson
Blake is being a good sport only because I bribed him with candy.
We took this picture with the timer on our camera. Can you believe everyone is actually looking and no one is picking their nose?
