Ferfie's Visit

Yeah!!! Of all the places my youngest sister, Jen, could go for her Spring Break, she picked us! She's a Senior at Utah State and was needing a little warmth. We were SO excited for her to come. We got a pedicure, went shopping and watched the Princess and the Frog... twice.
Jen is so cute with my kids. She chases them around the house, gives them piggy back rides, tries to beat up on Blake, does Audrey's hair, makes Jackson smile when he's grumpy, and plays "Sumo" with Chase.

We spent a day at Catalina State Park splashing in the water and making damns and sand castles.

It was such a beautiful day for Jen to relax and soak in some Arizona sun.
She had the privilege of attending one of Blake's Basketball games and Blake played extra hard to give her something to cheer about.

Thanks for coming Jen...Please come back soon!! We LOVE you!!

Sedona 2010

Matt had a conference in Sedona at the Enchantment (a really expensive resort that we could never afford to stay) so we tagged along with him and played while he worked.
Blake had a scout camp so he got left behind but had a blast with Joseph Winfield instead. We missed you Blake, especially when we were playing croquet (I had no competition).
On our evening stroll we ran in to a family of deer. Look closely and see how many you can spot.
answer: (6)
It was pretty chilly, but the kids couldn't resist the pool. We had it all to ourselves. Matt and I played tennis and of course I attended the morning yoga classes. Matt calls them "hippy classes", but there's nothing like a little meditation in the Sedona mountains.
We made it to the top!!
We LOVE hiking in Sedona and feeling the Vortex:) Jackson did a great job hiking and was a little trooper. Cracker Jacks at the top helped.
Playing on the red rocks.
Audrey kept saying that being in Sedona felt like a dream land because the mountains looked so beautiful but fake. She kept thanking us for taking her here. We had a wonderful time.
